Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist.org, has a great piece on FedScoop.com on the value of technology in government and about the shared responsibility we all have in transforming the way government works. The technology is already there, Newmark notes, and relatively easy when compared to the organizational changes that must take place within our government agencies. "This is what the new democracy is about -- building upon existing structures with serious engagement from the public, and from genuinely dedicated public servants," he writes.
